About Maitreya Kadampa Buddhist Centre

Maitreya Kadampa Buddhist Centre was founded with the purpose of helping people throughout Bexhill and the surrounding area to find happiness within their own minds. All are welcome to vist.

About Us

what our centre looks like

Maitreya Kadampa Buddhist Centre is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition of Mahayana Buddhism, which aims to make Buddhas's teachings available to everyone, whatever their experience or interest. Since our lives are so busy, we need a special way of developing and maintaining inner peace. The system of meditation taught in the Kadampa Tradition is perfectly suited to the modern world, being easy to understand and put into practice, yet bringing profound results.
